Body Mechanics Consults for Manual Therapists
How difficult it is to massage a client who wants relief from back pain when you’re struggling with your own pain! Mary Ann has over 30 years teaching body mechanics courses in various massage schools, including the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, where she also taught kinesiology.
Her kinesiology-based applications for better body mechanics focus on skeletal alignment for optimal lines of force to maximize pressure while minimizing mechanical stress. She also teaches core muscle engagement, the use of body weight, and breath support to improve force applications and leverage.

Mary Ann's spine and core muscle course is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)
as a continuing education Approved Provider #450542-07.
